What is in this workbook?
This workbook has three sheets: Legal Operations Dashboard, Matter Projects, and Setup. Legal Operations Dashboard is the quick-review surface, Matter Projects is the editable working log, and Setup holds supporting inputs, reusable context, or working rules.
How the workflow and formulas work
Use Matter Projects for project, task or milestone, owner, status, priority, due date, blocker, and completion; keep controlled owners, statuses, and working rules in Setup. Matter Projects calculates Remaining work as MAX(1-Complete,0). The dashboard counts work, averages completion, surfaces priority and blocked rows, and links its review rows directly to the working sheet.
How to use it in Griddy
Replace the sample values before sharing, then review the calculated Legal Operations Dashboard fields after editing the working log. The workbook includes a dropdown validation resource and a conditional-formatting resource for the relevant review or status fields.
Keep sensitive records out of the workbook
Use matter nicknames or internal IDs and minimal operational notes. Do not include privileged communications, client identifiers, or trust-account data. This workbook is a planning aid and does not replace accounting, legal, HR, tax, or education-record systems.
