What is in this workbook?
This workbook has three sheets: SaaS Budget Dashboard, SaaS Budget, and Setup. SaaS Budget Dashboard is the quick-review surface, SaaS Budget is the editable working log, and Setup holds supporting inputs, reusable context, or working rules.
How the workflow and formulas work
Use SaaS Budget for each line, category, revenue-or-expense type, planned amount, actual amount, favorable variance, actual net effect, status, owner, and review note; document the inputs behind the plan in Setup. Revenue variance is Actual minus Planned, while expense variance is Planned minus Actual. SaaS Budget Dashboard subtracts expenses from revenue to show planned net, actual net, and performance instead of mixing income with costs.
How to use it in Griddy
Replace the sample values before sharing, then review the calculated SaaS Budget Dashboard fields after editing the working log. The workbook includes a dropdown validation resource and a conditional-formatting resource for the relevant review or status fields.
Keep sensitive records out of the workbook
Use aggregate company figures. Keep customer records, employee compensation details, credentials, and investor documents in approved systems. This workbook is a planning aid and does not replace accounting, legal, HR, tax, or education-record systems.
