What is in this workbook?
This workbook has three sheets: Weekly Summary, Meal Plan, and Grocery & Recipe Notes. Weekly Summary is the quick-review surface, Meal Plan is the editable working log, and Grocery & Recipe Notes holds supporting inputs, reusable context, or working rules.
How the workflow and formulas work
Use Meal Plan for day, meal, dish, servings, prep minutes, prep status, leftovers, and notes; use Grocery & Recipe Notes for quantities, aisles, purchase status, and substitutions. Weekly Summary counts planned meals, sums servings and prep minutes, and counts rows still marked Plan. The working sheet also totals servings and prep minutes.
How to use it in Griddy
Replace the sample values before sharing, then review the calculated Weekly Summary fields after editing the working log. The workbook includes a dropdown validation resource and a conditional-formatting resource for the relevant review or status fields.
Keep sensitive records out of the workbook
Use household-friendly labels. Keep allergy, health, and payment information in the appropriate private system. This workbook is a planning aid and does not replace accounting, legal, HR, tax, or education-record systems.
