What is in this workbook?
This workbook has three sheets: Nonprofit Billing Dashboard, Program Billing Register, and Setup. Nonprofit Billing Dashboard is the quick-review surface, Program Billing Register is the editable working log, and Setup holds supporting inputs, reusable context, or working rules.
How the workflow and formulas work
Use Program Billing Register for description, program or grant code, funding review, quantity, rate, taxable status, adjustment, tax, line total, paid amount, balance, and next action; keep tax, terms, numbering, approval, and safety rules in Setup. Program Billing Register calculates Amount as Quantity multiplied by Rate, applies the Setup tax rate only to taxable rows, subtracts adjustments to produce each line total, calculates Balance as MAX(Line total-Paid,0), and labels each row Paid or Follow up. Nonprofit Billing Dashboard totals invoice value, payments, and the aggregate nonnegative balance and counts open lines.
How to use it in Griddy
Replace the sample values before sharing, then review the calculated Nonprofit Billing Dashboard fields after editing the working log. The workbook includes a dropdown validation resource and a conditional-formatting resource for the relevant review or status fields.
Keep sensitive records out of the workbook
Use program and funding codes only. Confirm grant allowability outside this workbook; do not enter donor, beneficiary, payroll, banking, or payment details. This workbook is a planning aid and does not replace accounting, legal, HR, tax, or education-record systems.
