What is in this workbook?
This workbook has three sheets: Dashboard, Expense Log, and Setup. Dashboard is the quick-review surface, Expense Log is the editable working log, and Setup holds supporting inputs, reusable context, or working rules.
How the workflow and formulas work
Enter date, vendor, category, budget, actual amount, review status, and notes; maintain program-expense categories in Setup. Dashboard counts entries, sums actual spend and variance, and counts lines marked Review. Expense Log calculates Variance as Actual minus Budget.
How to use it in Griddy
Replace the sample values before sharing, then review the calculated Dashboard fields after editing the working log. The workbook includes a dropdown validation resource and a conditional-formatting resource for the relevant review or status fields.
Keep sensitive records out of the workbook
Use grant and program codes instead of donor names or payment details. Confirm restricted-fund treatment with your finance lead. This workbook is a planning aid and does not replace accounting, legal, HR, tax, or education-record systems.
