What is in this workbook?
This workbook has three sheets: Hotel Billing Dashboard, Event & Group Folios, and Setup. Hotel Billing Dashboard is the quick-review surface, Event & Group Folios is the editable working log, and Setup holds supporting inputs, reusable context, or working rules.
How the workflow and formulas work
Use Event & Group Folios for description, group or event code, folio review, quantity, rate, taxable status, adjustment, tax, line total, paid amount, balance, and next action; keep tax, terms, numbering, approval, and safety rules in Setup. Event & Group Folios calculates Amount as Quantity multiplied by Rate, applies the Setup tax rate only to taxable rows, subtracts adjustments to produce each line total, calculates Balance as MAX(Line total-Paid,0), and labels each row Paid or Follow up. Hotel Billing Dashboard totals invoice value, payments, and the aggregate nonnegative balance and counts open lines.
How to use it in Griddy
Replace the sample values before sharing, then review the calculated Hotel Billing Dashboard fields after editing the working log. The workbook includes a dropdown validation resource and a conditional-formatting resource for the relevant review or status fields.
