What is in this workbook?
This workbook has three sheets: Bookkeeping Billing Dashboard, Bookkeeping Invoice, and Setup. Bookkeeping Billing Dashboard is the quick-review surface, Bookkeeping Invoice is the editable working log, and Setup holds supporting inputs, reusable context, or working rules.
How the workflow and formulas work
Use Bookkeeping Invoice for service, engagement or order detail, quantity, rate, subtotal, taxable status, tax, discount, line total, paid to date, and remaining balance; use Setup for controlled billing rules. Subtotal is Quantity multiplied by Rate, and taxable rows use the editable tax rate in Setup. Bookkeeping Invoice calculates discount, line total, and MAX(Line total-Paid to date,0) balance; Bookkeeping Billing Dashboard links the subtotal, tax, invoice total, and balance totals.
How to use it in Griddy
Replace the sample values before sharing, then review the calculated Bookkeeping Billing Dashboard fields after editing the working log. The workbook includes a dropdown validation resource and a conditional-formatting resource for the relevant review or status fields.
Keep sensitive records out of the workbook
Use client-safe labels. Do not include ledger exports, bank credentials, account numbers, tax IDs, or private source documents. This workbook is a planning aid and does not replace accounting, legal, HR, tax, or education-record systems.
