Getting Started
Installation
- 1Open Excel on your computer or in your browser
- 2Go to the Insert tab and select "Office Add-ins"
- 3Search for "Griddy" in the AppSource store
- 4Click "Add" to install Griddy
- 5Once installed, you'll find Griddy in the Home tab
First Steps
- 1Click the Griddy button in the Home tab to open the sidebar
- 2Sign in or create a new account
- 3Select any cells in your spreadsheet
- 4Type your request in natural language (e.g., "sum these numbers" or "create a chart")
- 5Press Enter to see Griddy work its magic

Griddy isn't responding to my commands
Check your internet connection and refresh the Excel window. If the issue persists, try signing out and back in.
I can't see the changes Griddy made
Make sure you've selected the correct range of cells and that you haven't accidentally frozen panes or hidden rows/columns.
The chart or formatting isn't what I expected
Try being more specific in your request. You can also use the undo button to revert changes and try again with a different phrasing.
I'm getting an error message
Most error messages include specific instructions to resolve the issue. If you're still stuck, contact our support team.
