About
Two billion people use spreadsheets.
Most of them are fighting the tool.
We started Griddy in July 2025. One of us came from finance and lived in spreadsheets. The other always felt Excel was more complicated than it needed to be. When Cursor took off and proved that AI could make developers dramatically more capable, the question was obvious: why didn't this exist for spreadsheets?
Spreadsheets have run the financial world for 40 years. They're extraordinarily capable — but most of that capability is locked behind hundreds of functions, workflows that take years to master, and error messages that send you to Google. A senior analyst and a first-year open the same file and have completely different experiences. That gap shouldn't exist.
Before this we built Koda, a consumer app we scaled to tens of thousands of users. We saw a bigger opportunity and took it.

Where we're going
The near-term goal is simple: make Excel and Google Sheets dramatically less painful for everyone who uses them. Describe what you need. Griddy does it.
The long-term vision is bigger: the best AI-native spreadsheet for the next generation — one that makes the expert more formidable and the beginner immediately capable.
